About

I’ve been slightly obsessed with tatting ever since I first learned how to make the flip in college (It took me all of one summer to learn how to close that first ring).  In my free-time I’m a working grad student who tries to travel as much as possible.

Some more pages about me and Snapdragon Lace:

Check out my other website, ayearinacar.com, for some of my travel adventures.

I also have an Etsy shop at etsy.com/shop/snapdragonlace

I announce giveaways, new products and sales on Facebook at facebook.com/snapdragonlace

For more about tatting, I recommend:

Georgia Seitz’s website is great for learning to tat if you can’t find someone to teach you in person.

The Antique Pattern Library is a great resource for finding older pattern books.

The InTatter’s Library page has taken the tatting patterns from the Antique Pattern Library and put them all in one place.

InTatters.com is also a fantastic resource for connecting with other tatters on the web.  I highly recommend joining.

Hi Jessica,

I’m hoping you have comment moderation turned on 😀 I couldn’t find an email address for you, so would you mind dropping me an email? (I’m interested in featuring your site)

Thanks!

Hi Jessica,
I was just reading your thoughts about doing the rose motif. Now you know why I didn’t write up directions. I do these things intuitiely, and to try and tell someone else in words is just toooooo dificult. :)
